I began my journey into coding at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. After years of being involved with numerous startups within the warehouse and inventory world I made the decision to leave my secure job in Laguna Beach and focus my energy into coding. I invested into a paid coding bootcamp stacked with a few free courses and obtained my frontend development certificate in 3 months. Shortly after I was offered a junior developer position with a startup in Playa Vista but due to conflicts in interest I was let go. Three days after I decided to start my own freelancing company that would focus on bringing clean and efficent websites to all types of clients with detail and care in mind.
Why Grace Coding
My grandmothers name is Grace Williams and she is one of my main sources of inspiration. I dedicated the company name as an ode to her legacy and the strength she gave me to always aspire for better in life. I offer value in my website designs and you can expect professional layouts and components. The average price of a website design is well into the thousands and I believe every business and person should have adequate access to afforadble website design services. I cater especially to other minority owned businesses and clients coming from dis-advantaged backgrounds and circumstances. I'd like to take the mystery and complexity out of web design for many who like myself come from an area where technology and developer resources were scarce. My long term goal is to grow this company and use it to fund other endeavors in my life alongside helping other startups and small business owners. My network includes many creative individuals and teams that range from tech to music and everything in between. I reguarly collaborate with many other prominent designers and marketing specialists for various projects. I currently work with WJJ Brands as a Web Designer as well and you can view works I've done with them here.
